Festive Fun at our Charity Christmas Shopping Event...

On Thursday 24th November, we hosted our Charity Christmas Shopping Experience at our showroom in Byfleet Village. The festive event was extremely successful and a steady flow of guests were welcomed throughout the evening with canapes, courtesy of Truffles Catering, and a glass of bubbles.

We invited a range of local businesses to attend, positioned around our two-storey showroom, where they were able to display their unique products to their full potential. Twenty Six Degrees sold luxury cashmere scarves, jewellery and handbags; Temple Spa offered beauty products; On the Lash provided guests with beauty treatments during the night, whilst Lily Gee presented their scented candles. The Crafty Duo displayed a large selection of novelty gifts and Petit Pops tempted everyone with their imaginative Miniature Cake Pops. The Surrey Wine Cellar attracted many guests who delighted in sampling their wine and gin!

Our chosen charity, The White Lodge Centre, which supports disabled children and adults, as well as their families, displayed their Christmas cards at the front of the showroom. They were delighted to raise £350 in Christmas card sales and donations on the night!

All guests were entered into a Prize Draw and there was much excitement when the ticket numbers were drawn and the bountiful prizes announced!!

Clare Cross said, “I am thrilled to have hosted such a successful evening, and to have been able to work with many local businesses. It has been a really fun and happy evening with much laughter. I think everyone embraced the Christmas spirit and I look forward to organising similar events in 2017!”

Thank you to all the local business who showed off their lovely products, and to all the wonderful guests who made an appearance and donated to The White Lodge Centre. It was a fabulous evening, perfect for getting everyone in the Christmas spirit as the countdown begins…
